Terms and Conditions of Entry

Restrictions on entry

  1. The minimum age to enter is 14 yrs.
  2. The competition is not open to paid professionals.
  3. The competition is not open to relatives of the judges.
  4. Entrants must be residents of Penarth, work in Penarth or have strong associations with the town.
  5. Entrants are restricted to a maximum of two entries (in which case two entry fees will be payable).
  6. Entrants may enter twice in the same category, provided both entries are not in the same discipline (e.g. one entry in dance and one entry in drama would be acceptable, but two entries in drama would not).

Applications

  1. The entry fee is £5 (for one person or two performing together) or £15 for a group (three or more people). Entry fees are non-returnable.
  2. Entries may be made by submission via the website (www.penarthsgottalent.com) or by post, but no entry will be accepted until receipt of correct payment.
  3. Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to ‘Penarth’s Got Talent’.
  4. ALL ENTRIES SHOULD BE RECEIVED WITH CORRECT PAYMENT BY MONDAY 24th MARCH 2008 AT PENARTH'S GOT TALENT, 30 VICTORIA ROAD, PENARTH, VALE OF GLAMORGAN CF64 3HX.
  5. Late entries may be considered at the organiser's discretion .

Competition

  1. Each entry has a maximum performance time of 4 minutes.
  2. Each entrant should provide any instruments, equipment or props needed to perform. Where any of these are to be used, prior discussion with the organisers is required
  3. Entrants who are successful in reaching the Grand Finale may determine whether to use the same or new material for the Grand Finale.

General

  1. Entrants perform at their own risk. The organisers cannot accept any responsibility for any accident that may occur while the entrant is performing.
  2. The determination by the organisers on any matter is final.
